Used Yoder Slitting Machine Installation
This project involved the complete installation of a used Yoder slitting line that was purchased by our customer for its Southern Ohio facility. Coil Line Installations had turnkey responsibility for the installation portion of the project. We installed the looping pit, foundations, slabs, equipment and all hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems. The owner's design team provided the line layout, anchor bolt plans and electrical drawings. Coil Line Installations provided the balance of AutoCAD drawings necessary to install the under-slab electrical routing, pit and foundations, utility trenches and covers, safety rails and gates, etc. This was the fourth line (different equipment manufacturers) that Coil Line Installations installed in this facility, and the installation was completed a month sooner than the estimated completion date – on straight time.
"We have worked with Coil Line Installations on three installations over the last four years. I have been consistently impressed by the team led by Scott and Anthony Theisen. Their team's quality of work is excellent and their group is very knowledgeable, skilled, courteous and safety conscious. Both Scott and Anthony have strong organizational skills and commitment with a focus on customer satisfaction. They effectively keep you informed of project status and possess the necessary skills to handle changes and unforeseen issues that come with any installation."

Equipment for this project was removed by Coil Line Installations from an operating facility in California and transported to a local storage facility near the customer's site in Southeastern Michigan. Upon release of the site to Coil Line Installations, slab removal and looping pit work began. Construction progressed through foundations, equipment setting, hydraulic and electrical systems installation. This project required the specialized skills of Coil Line Installations, as drawings of the existing line were not accurate. Additionally, the owner elected to modify certain portions of the line and even reversed the operator's side orientation. Knowledgeable and timely design work provided by Coil Line Installations, at all stages, proved invaluable to the success of this project.

Coil Line Installations was responsible for all equipment installation including hydraulic, pneumatic and water cooling systems. The project was performed on an expedited work schedule at the owner’s request. Looping pit, foundations and electrical work were performed by others under direct contract with the owner.
